Awards Evening - 20th April - Change of Venue
Change of venue to the Yorkley Village Hall/Recreation Centre. Continue on from clubhouse to Yorkley ( 1 mile) and turn right just before you reach the Bailey Pub.Annual General Meeting - 27th April
A new Committee will be proposed, seconded and voted in at the AGM. If anybody wishes to stand or wishes to propose any other member please contact Graham Ward the Secretary.

An exhibition of members' prints will be staged in Stoneberry House, Lydney Hospital as part of the Annual Lydney Hospital fundraising event from 10.30 to 2.00. Come along!
Hopefully you will all submit prints for this showcase. If you are happy to do this please let Terry have prints after the Awards evening or later in the summer but before the beginning of July! - December 2008
BBC A day in your life
Chris Sandys from BBC Gloucestershire writes...We want to gain a snapshot of life in Gloucestershire across a 24 hour period and so are inviting as many people as possible to join in. Might this be something that the members of Forest of Dean Camera Club could join in with?

PAGB Small Clubs Cup
Terry is eagerly awaiting digital files from you all. We came joint 8th last year and want to be top, of course! This a competition between all the Clubs in the UK! There are prizes!We need 20 images from the Club so please send 5 or 6 images if you have them to Terry asap!

Westonbirt Arboretum
Just a reminder that The Westonbirt Arboretum can be a good place to go for the changing Autumn colours. Amongst this huge collection thee is an Acer Glade which can be spectacular.Look out for frosty weather which kick starts the process and check-out the Autumn Colour Watch on their website.
They do have lots of other events there so if you can go in the week it may be less crowded. Charges apply.

Trip schedule altered
The Bristol Basin outing on Monday 18th August is cancelled. We will instead be visiting the National Birds of Prey Centre at Newent on Friday 22nd August.
